Regardless of your feelings, political affiliation or even understanding of what is happening with the immigration crisis here in the United States– Children must be a priority.
I had the privileged of being on location near the border of Texas (McAllen) to try to help bring to light what is being muddled by the media. The media will will write and feature what fits their narrative–often a political affiliation, with the hopes of persuading their audience to lean one way.
One of the issues that keeps coming up in regards to the immigration issue is child trafficking. When the opportunity came to make a way near the border, I immediately took up the offer. Being able to investigate what’s happening with my own eyes will hopefully bring the light the workings on the ground near the border of the United States and Mexico.
